1,000 women are killed in the name of Honor Killings every year in India. Hearing the news about honour killing forces us to think “What is honour?” Treating the girl child as property or puppet? (especially we never heard about a boy getting killed for honor).
There is no honor in Honor Killing.
Killing in the name of honor is murder indeed.
Girl getting killed by mother or father! Nothing is more horrific for the girl than this. Killing own daughter or sister in the name of honor killings bring shame only not honor.
